A few of beautiful Victorian era houses, in one area. Single family
houses. All in great condition! I was amazed to see these houses in one
small area here in Los Angeles. These were built 120-140 years ago. And
nice trees, palm trees & tropical plants around these. History keeps
its treasures ;) What I love in vintage architecture very much is that
each house is unique, and most of them beautified with decorative
patterns.
A beautiful vintage architecture! Here are a lot of shoe shops in Greater Los Angeles but this shop is special because its building is historical, a great example of Art Deco style. There are also elements of 19th century classic architectural decor, I mean a Venetian-inspired bas-relief, which waves & face of mythical Neptune (or something like that). According info on real estate network, this building has been built in beginning of 1900’s. Of course, there you can find a lot of athletic shoes, snickers, etc. Shoe Palace is one of largest athletic footwear and apparel retail chains in the US. I purchased there 6 pairs of my snickers. But this shop is one I saw located in such wonderful vintage building. Most of shoe shops in our city are in modern buildings or in mid-century buildings… I love vintage architecture, like this building or from era before that.
Hi friends & visitors! Here is my new video about my beautiful cit Los Angeles.
Part 1. Stunning contrasts in styles of architecture: variety of old
styles mixed with new. I walked around one block to record this video.
Variety of styles here is really amazing! Vintage buildings of Victorian
era and Grand depression era, replica of Maya sculptures, made to
beautify a front of famous Mayan theater, vintage pro-European style
theater, vintage building with pro-Arabian style roof top, Palace
apartment building and modern architecture, luxury apartments, glass
balconies and metal net-alike wall decor, also beautiful new buildings
with glass walls,in which you can see a reflection of another building
across the street. Note, streets of our city are very clean, and all
vehicles too! Because bid job was done during over 20 years to reduce
pollution and keep air clean. We care about ecology. Our city is
beautiful! And, as you can see, there are more building constructions to
complete soon ;)
